Bookshop Coordinator / Assistant Manager Marketing - Karachi-based
- OUP has a chain of 12 bookshops in Pakistan retailing a range of books including school and college texts, dictionaries, academic, scholarly and children's books, and books for learning English. This position involves managing staff, customer care, promotional activities, and retail operations of the OUP network of bookshops.
- Skills/Qualifications required: Graduate, retail and staff management experience, business and financial acumen, a valid driving license.
Editor - Karachi-based
- Responsible for project management of OUP books across a range of levels and disciplines.
- Skills/Qualifications required: Should have impeccable English or Urdu skills and the ability to manage multiple external and internal relationships, work under pressure, multi-task, take responsibility, and show initiative. Prior editorial experience is desirable.
- Creative, demanding, and challenging middle management position which requires excellent creative skills combined with the ability to work on tight deadlines.
- Skills/Qualifications required: Degree in Graphic or Communication Design from a reputable art school with proficiency in design / publishing software.
