Finance Manager Job


Role

  • Maintain financial & commercial propriety in respect of the company operations while controlling costs in order to achieve Budget with a simultaneous focus on safeguarding the assets of the company.
  • Support the Finance Controller by providing inputs on key performance indicators of the company.

Qualification

  • Chartered Accountant with the experience of around 4-6 years in manufacturing sector. 
  • Experience in developing and implementing Internal Controls and procedures in manufacturing companies essential. 
  • Exposure to SOX desirable.

Soft Skills

  • Process Oriented, attention to details and accuracy
  • Proactive and able to prioritize the work load
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office Spread sheet and Power point
  • Ability to work across the functional lines.

Accountabilities

  • Financial Plan & Control
  • Cash flow forecasting and review.
  • Ensure effective and efficient Internal Controls are operated in the company.
  • Ensure effective and efficient Internal Controls are operated in the company. 
  • Ensure accuracy and high level of accountability in the financial matters and accounting.
  • Preparation & validation of Annual Budgets & forecasts in sync with laid down objectives for operations.
  • Ensure preparation monthly accounts (viz. P & L and Balance Sheet) in accordance with SG policies and IFRS.
  • Reporting of periodic Operational Results. Process & Resource Optimization
  • Effectively lead & control common combined processes viz. accounts payable, accounts receivable, fixed assets management and statutory compliance.
  • Lead the implementation of the ERP system. Interface with External Agencies
  • Lead the statutory audit and interface with statutory auditors.
  • Interact with the Group Internal Auditors and Finance officials.

Compliance

  • Ensure compliance with all financial legislations and IFRS as applicable to the company operations.
  • Coaching and Leading
  • Build requisite general accounting and administrative support capabilities in Finance.
  • Effect job rotation to build an environment where ‘everyone knows everything’ thus leading to succession planning.
