Furniture Pakistan has the privilege to be the PIONER in taking steps towards the Development of the Furniture Sector of Pakistan.
"Chief Executive Officer"
Education and Experience:
- Master Degree in Strategic Management/MBA (any additional qualifications related to wood/furniture industry would be preferred).
- 15 yrs of total professional management experience with minimum 5 years of top management experience. Candidates with relevant Development sector Experience will be preferred.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Exercise, execute powers and authorities as delegated by the BOD.
- Identify and assess opportunities, scope and feasibility for new initiatives to present to the BOD for approval.
- Develop a clear understanding of business issues being faced by the industry and development institutions, including, but not limited to, policy, economic development, technology needs, skills needs, commercialization, management etc.
- Execute and implement all project directions and decisions of the BOD.
- Represent the organization in interaction with various international divisions, as well as externally to the media, government agencies, funding agencies and/or the general public.
- Plan, develops and implements strategies for generating resources for the organization.
"General Manager"
Education and Experience:
- Master in Management/MBA or equivalent/preferably with Engineering background).
- 10 yrs of total experience in the industrial or Development sector with at least 7 years of Project Management Experience..
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide direction to the keeping inline the vision of the organization.
- Supervise and guide the team to prepare feasibility studies in new areas of the sector, industrial GAP Analysis and devise corrective and preventive actions.
- Setting action plans with specific outputs and milestones and evaluating the results.
- Ensure Government compliance and PPRA rules wherever applicable.
- Planning international liaisons and developing collaborations with Donor Agencies.
