A leading Multinational Insurance Company based in Karachi, Pakistan requires an ASSISTANT MANAGER NETWORKS. The AM Networks manages the LAN and WAN, manages hardware and software maintenance and licensing, installs software, documents the network, and performs related tasks.
The incumbent should be responsible for the following:
- Library policies and procedures
- Microsoft Windows 2003 and 2008 Server
- Microsoft Active Directory
- Microsoft Exchange Server.
- Computer, network operations and maintenance
- LAN/WANs
- CD ROM /USP technology
- Software applications
- WWW and HTML platform
- Emerging technology trends
- CiSCO routers and switches technology
Skills :
- Evaluate critical systems, prioritize workflow and determine solutions
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Interpret and apply laws, regulations and policies
- Provide technical assistance for computer problems
- Read and understand technical manuals
- Work for extended time at keyboard/terminal/PC
- Maintain effective working relationships with supervisor and coworkers
- Work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings
Qualification:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related degree, or equivalent education and work experience
- Preferably Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer
- Experience :
- Significant knowledge of or background in integrated online systems, LANs/WANs, telecommunications networks and application software, preferred
- A minimum of one (5) year experience with Microsoft Exchange, Windows 2003 Server and Windows 2008 Server. Microsoft Office Professional 2007 and Internet applications, preferred
