Job Detail:
The International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) in Karachi is looking for a suitable to fill the following vacancy: "Cooperation Field Officer"
Responsibilities:
- Acts as link between the ICRC & the Pakistan Red Crescent Society (PRCS) in Sindh.
- Contributes to the implementation and running of joint ICRC-PPRCS project/programmes in Sindh, mainly independently.
- Supports the PRCS in sindh in its capacity building process.
- Ensures and assists the ICRC and the PRCS to maintain partnership relations through transparent working relationship.
- Facilitates and represents the ICRC in Red Cross Red Crescent Movement coordination-related matters with the Federation and Participating National Societies (PNS) in Sindh.
- Contributes to written reporting.
Requirements:
- University degree or equivalent.
- 4 years work experience in a similar field.
- Fluent in written and spoken English, Knowledge of Sindhi is an asset.
- Team leadership skills.
- Good knowledge of the Sindh region.
- Good analytical skills.
- Good communication skills.
The Profile:
The ICRC is looking for a young and energetic individual, male or female, who has good orgnisational, interpersonal and communication skills. The successful candidate should have a sense of analysis and initiative, the ability to work independently and in a team. The above position demand flexibility and the ability to work under pressure.
