The Radcliffe Institute for Advanced Study is now welcoming proposals from small groups of scholars (two to three) who have research interests or projects in common. As a fellowship cluster you would spend the year pursuing your cluster's research interests or project. The Institute encourages the inclusion of junior faculty.
All members of the cluster (excluding creative artists) must have been awarded their doctorates by December 2010. Only scholars who have published at least two articles in journals or edited collections or one refereed journal are eligible to apply. Please note specific eligibility requirements here.
In order to gain consideration to apply jointly, the convener(s) of such a group should submit:
- a letter of intent (one to three pages) describing the group’s focus and aims
- a list of participants
- a copy of each participant's curriculum vitae
Please address the letter of intent to Fellowship Program Associate Dean, Judith Vichniac. The documents may be e-mailed as attachments tofellowships@radcliffe.edu. This material must be sent by Friday, May 6, 2011for consideration for the 2012–2013 fellowship year. Should you be chosen to apply as a fellowship cluster, you will receive further instructions on continuing your application in June 2011.
For questions regarding the application process you can contact us by e-mail or phone.
